chai tea at starbucks?
does starbucks sell regualr chai tea? not a chai tea latte but just a chai tea?
it says on their menu tazo herbal infusion, what is that?
Yeah, they have chai tea bags.
What’s the best Starbucks drink?
I’ll try anything. I have tried
Passionfruit Shaken ice tea
Orange tazo tea
oranges and cream frap
strawberries and cream frap
caramel frap
java chip frap
vanilla bean frap
chai latte
Orange mango banana vivanno
I would like to try something fruity and sweet. (:
So what are some good drinks to try?
i usually get a frozen passion lemonade frap? its basically passion with lemonade into a slush! really good.
What’s your favorite kind of tea?
I want to try some new flavors of tea. I’m a big fan of Tazo. I’m open to any suggestions EXCEPT black tea. I hate black tea unless it’s chai. Yum. ^.^
Depends on the season and my mood. Lately I’ve been drinking a lot of gen mai cha – it’s a toasted rice green tea. Don’t give up on black tea – you just need to find a good variety. Try a darjeeling sometime – it’s referred to as the champagne of tea.
Does Starbuck have different recipe?
Did Starbuck get their own recipe for the Chai Tea Latte from Tazo? I found that the Chai Tea in the supermarkets taste different than the Chai Trea Latte from Starbuck.
here is a copycat recipe for Starbucks chai tea latte if you are interested…
Chai
3 cups water
3 cups milk
6-8 black or decaf black tea bags
1/2 cup honey
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cardamom
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger (or a mashed small chunk of fresh)
Bring water and milk to a boil. Add other ingredients, return to boil. Turn off heat and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bags then filter through fine strainer. Good hot or cold.
hope this helps! =)
What kind of tea is good? And how do i go about making it?
Since the winter season is coming around, I’ve been interested in trying some hot teas. Recently, I bought an assorted box of Tazo tea (the kind from Starbucks). I like fruity things, and so far my favorite is "Wild Sweet Orange", but it’s a little tangy so I added some honey. My friend suggested Celestial Seasoning’s ‘Wild Berry Zinger’
Anyways, I can’t seem to find a tea I like. They’re usually rather strong (like "Chai", or "Lotus") or too light (like "Zen" Tazo). I’m wondering if I’m brewing it incorrectly.
I first boiled the water, and poured 8 oz of it into the mug over the filter bag. Now, do I let it sit? or do i stir it? And for how long? The back of the box says ’steep’ Green Tea’s 3 minutes, and all others for 5. Steep means to soak, so I guess you don’t do anything, right?
I’m an over-analyst, so bear with me.
Does anyone know a good fruit/flavored tea, or can anyone help me brew these tea’s I already have for a more enjoyable experience?
First, here’s some information on brewing tea.
For black tea, bring the water to a boil and steep (soak) the tea in the water for as long as you like – 5 minutes is a standard time.
For oolong tea, bring the water to around 200 degrees F – below boiling, and steep the tea for 3 minutes. You can use the tea bag/leaves a second time.
For green tea, bring the water to around 180 degrees F and steep for 3 minutes. Again, you can reuse the tea.
Green and oolong tea (green, especially) will get bitter and unpleasant if steeped in boiling water – so pour the water before it gets to boiling.
Tazo teas are okay, but they are not of the highest quality. My favorite source for teas is Tao of Tea, in Portland, Oregon (http://www.taooftea.com/). They have first-rate teas, some of which are organic, and many many choices, both caffeinated and herbal.
Some personal favorites are:

What am i doing wrong?
7 AM: chai tea latte (vanilla soymilk, tazo chai tea bag, sometimes about 1.5 tbsp honey)
snack (during class time): 1 bannana, 3 small apples (the home grown kind), or 2 oranges
3 PM: lunch: usually ramen, rice with salty korean veggies, sometimes rice and fish, or fast food (usually chinese take out and water bottle or burritos). i tend to overeat at this time because afterschool im starving!!
7 PM: rice and soup (korean food) i try to eat only a little bit, just enough so i wont feel terribly hungry, but often the food is so tasty that i get carried away and eat seconds
7 to 11 PM: hot herbal tea (chamomile, rose, lavendar, anything to stay warm and that helps to sleep or relax the digestive system.
OK, im 5′2" and weight 125 lbs. that is overweight. my doctor said i should be under a 100 lbs but as long as its between 95-105 its acceptable and healthy. so it seems there is a lot wrong with my diet (i dont exersize, that could be another thing) but what? please help ![]()
a latte is not breakfast therefore your metabolism isn’t going to start it’s going to keep storing because it feels that your body is starving. Start eating a meal for breakfast. And you’re eating 3 meals a day you should be eating 6 small meals. Cardio and dieting come hand in hand with weight loss.
Do all the tazo teas at starbucks have antioxidants?
Including ones like berry chai infusion and awake?
Of course they do. They’re tea leaves, no matter what bizarre extra flavorings or other ingredients have been added.
If you’re obsessed with antioxidants, I would suggest any white or green tea, preferably an unflavored one. Actually, a cheaper tea would work better for this purpose, since the extra bitterness in the flavor comes from antioxidants.
What’s your favorite kind of tea?
I love chai spice tea and peppermint! Cinnamon spice tea from Tazo is also good. ![]()
Luzianne>>>>>>>>>>>It is THE best for making iced tea!
For hot tea, I love Twinings Earl Grey.
Which tea is used in this drink?
I just had the new Tazo Tea Infusion drink at Starbucks, and it is so good! I had the Berry Chai. Which Tazo Tea is used in the drink?
I looked it up and it says on the starbucks website:
Berry Chai Infusion
Combines Chai Tea concentrate with a proprietary blend of aronia berry (tart berry similar to cranberry) and black currant (dark colored berry with a sharp, sweet taste) juice.
Can you get those ingredients in the store?
I work at Starbucks, so I know of which I speak. You can buy the "Tazo" Organic Chai Tea Bags at almost any grocery store. It’s in the Tea aisle. However, the berry juice we use is made specially for Starbucks. You can try to find some of the Aronia berry or Black current juices at the grocery store and mix to taste. Hope this helps! ^_^
